Injuring this character: Yes. Go for it! There are no limitations. Unless you want to make it something relevant to later plots, then discuss for permanent consequences

Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Yes, may be dependent on scenario -- note that Stiles is hinted at having ADHD, and that can affect how his thoughts come across to the mindreader
